Organic Cotton
We are proud that our cotton hemp terry fabric is exclusively made from 100% GOTS certified organic hemp cotton.
GOTS was founded to promote organic processing standards for organic textiles encouraging international recognition. A textile containing the GOTS organic label must be made up of at least 95% organic fibers. These organic fibers are grown using less water and without the use of synthetic pesticides, insecticides, herbicides and genetically modified organisms.
Most importantly throughout the production process of organic agriculture the health of soils, ecosystems and humans are never compromised and the cotton is hand-picked rather than picked with a machine. Reducing the carbon footprint is the ultimate end goal.
OEKO-Tex 100 Standards
Our linen flowers are hand made from fabric woven according to universally accepted quality requirements which correspond to OEKO-Tex 100 Standards. Fabric with the OEKO-Tex Standard label means every raw material in the manufacturing of the fabric has been tested and there are limits to the amount of harmful human substances you can use in the manufacturing process such as: pesticides, synthetic fertilizers and formaldehyde.
